I was running that thing you said over in my head - "I've given up on ideology, I'm just gonna sit back and watch it end with a can in my hand", and at first I thought "alright, but where are you gonna get the next can after it's all ended. But then I imagined you having built a bomb shelter somewhere, and for some reason I'd run in and say "Jesus lads, it's all ending out there", and Pat would be in a small section in the corner with long lasting food like rice  and canned vegetables. But you'd have taken over most of the shelter, and you'd be sitting there, having filled 80% of the shelter up with cans and smokes, cig in one hand, franzy in the other, legs crossed watching it all end on an old black and white television. And you'd look at me and say... "ah yeah"
